"The owner was really kind and sweet. Dinner and breakfast were rich and tasty.."

Rhe house was particularly cold. There was no heating system except for a wood fireplace. We tried to heat the house but it wasn't enough and the morning after it was very cold. Taking the shower we realized hot water wasn't constant and suddenly, meanwhile having the shower, water became freezing cold. The price for dinner, rhough we decided to eat there, in my opinion, was a little expensive comparing it with other meals in Tunisia.

"This is not a standard hotel or gite or whatever, this is a special place. Expect no luxury here, this is not what Karims guesthouse is about. It is about being in a small village and in nature. Basically, this is as close to a home stay as you can book on Booking. You can choose a room or the stilted house (recommended) in a garden full of interesting plants. Your water comes from a well or the river, your coffee directly from the bushes around you, and the food from...actually I don't know where, but it is amazing. One of the Kpime waterfalls is just a short, but nice walk away, and you can roam the village or take a long walk to Yikpa waterfall (~4 h one way). And when you come back, you lay in a hammock with a fresh and local cocoa or sit in the garden. And the best, you don't need to be in Kpalime, with all the chaos, noise, and smells. Although it is something different, I really enjoyed my stay. Karim is a fantastic host and La montagne verde exactly my type of stay."

Just be aware what you are booking, and there is nothing negative about it.

Of course, car is needed to get somewhere. In general, we stay in 5 different accommodation during our vacation in Georgia, and this was the best one"

it was "mosquito" season, so we could not enjoy evening garden so much (but windows has mosquito nets, so they did not get inside). Sometime you hear dogs from neighborhood during night. But that's something you need to count with in countryside :-)

"This stay was the best thing in our trip. For real! Firs of all - the host Ali. Most amazing person ever. We were so happy to meet him, gave a lot of tips and advices what to see nearby. Also did hike with him - without Ali it would be impossible to complete, but most amazing hike ever!!! And hey people, this is not a luxury villa, but its an experience, this is how you feel this country. Outside fireplace with a lot of stars in a sky, goats sounds in the morning and peace. Also jebel shams canyon is very near. When I come back to Oman, would definitely stay here again!"

"Location is close to many historical and natural attractions. We took one of the jeep tours on the mountain and were very happy. The kids loved animals - especially the baby piglets. The food was excellent, freshly made from the farm."

"Our stay at Steigenberger was very pleasant, the same day we started with a spa treatment - the Pharaoh bath, we got a special deal two for one. We had 3 massage therapists who took care of us💆‍♀️Higly recommending it! But let's get back to the beginning, we got welcomed by Ahmed, who gave us a beautiful room with a balcony facing the Nile. For many a dream come true.. You will be welcomed wih a refreshing cold hibiscus tea. The breakfast buffet there has a huge selection and in the evening you can also have a dinner buffet with a view to the Nile if you sit outside. There are two pools, gym, some stores with souvenirs around the hotel and even a swing to take a beautiful sunset picture with a view to the Nile. Thank you Ahmed for your assistance, we felt very welcome thanks to you. 💯☺️"

The surrounding area is poor, but don't be scared, the locals are welcoming and kind. Sometimes you have to be patient so order your breakfast early if you have an adventure day planned.

"Very nice and simple apartment, it had all the essentials. The area was very lovely and nice. The host was very nice and helpful, we had the cooked dinner by her and the fish was very tasty!"

I think it could have been a little bit cleaner, like the bath matts being clean, but otherwise it was totally fine.

Jeg dro når det var litt kaldt så det er greit å ta med seg litt ekstra klær om natten da det ikke er varme i hyttene.

"The home is in great shape and is easily accessible. Check-in and check-out was well laid out in advance. We enjoyed using the kitchen to cook meals and store drinks during our stay. Having the AC in the room was a life-saver!"

Some basic kitchen amenities like paper towels and trash bags were not provided or incorrectly sized. Trash bins (inside and outside) were sometimes over-full due to the nature of the shared space.

Det står kontinental frokost FEIL hvis du liker gammelt tørt brød, svett ost gamle grønne kalde egg, pålegg og tomat og agurk som er satt innn og ut av kjøleskap en hel uke. Utvannet juice, lite utvalg nesten bare søte ting, og du må betale ekstra for kaffe te. Vi ble lovet De luxe rom i øverste etasje, vi fikk rom i under etasje uten utsikt, hun lot oss ikke bytte rom til det vi var lovet. sengen i rommet er for kort for mennesker over 1,80 cm mitt reisefølge måtte sove med føttene utenfor sengen, veldig ubehagelig for han. Det finnes ikke såpe i dusjen. Det Veldig lytt du hører alt fra naborom og gang. Vi havnet i etasje -2 og det var beksvart i trappen jeg falt i trappen og skadet kneet mitt stygt. Og med tanke på at det er 2 km å gå spurte jeg om vi kunne avslutte vårt opphold på dette horrible stedet både på grunn av vondt kne og på grunn av rommet vi fikk var ikke det vi hadde betalt for. Og vi fikk blankt nei av den frekke eieren av stedet, istedet løy hun for oss og sa at det finnes en buss fra hovedveien og at den går hvert 30 minutt. Noe som var blank løgn, vi snakket med andre på stedet det finnes ikke buss i Saranda. Vi var i kontakt med booking om å få penger tilbake de prøvde virkelig å hjelpe oss men Eieren av dette stedet nekter blankt for dette. Det var et alt for dyrt sted til det vi har betalt og blirt lovet.

Honestly cannot think of a thing. Terry was exceptionally accommodating to us. We arrived before check-in and could rest in the peaceful, calm Oasis's private garden while Terry prepared our rooms. Then he patiently and thoroughly explained to us the absolute best places to visit and eat. We would not have found them so easily during our short visit without his invaluable advice. By chance we had a night to fill and stumbled on Oasis. What a wonderful mishap and discovery! Our family will definitely return, next time with full intention. Thank you so much, Terry.

We were only informed after booking that we needed to pay extra for the towels, bedlinen and that we needed to pay a deposit. We didn't mind, but I don't like we were only told after booking.
