Situated right at the bank of the well-known Blausee lake with its crystal-clear blue water, this hotel features a gourmet kafé offering trout and other delicious treats. A velvære area including an outdoor hot tub is there as well. The elegantly furnished rooms of the Hotel & Helse Og Velvære Blausee offer views of the Bernese Alps and some have lake views. Each comes with a private bathroom. With its 13 Gault Millau points, the fine-dining kulinarisk opplevelse serves regional fish, meat and vegetarian dishes and selected wines. A 4-course dinner is available on request. There is also the Blausee Cafe in which we serve bagels, homemade cakes and specialty coffees. Both have a terrace open in summer. Evenings can be spent in front of the fireplace in the cosy lounge or at the bar. Behandlingssenter facilities are available for free and include a sauna, a sanarium, a steam grotto and a hot tub. Children can have fun on the adventure playground, you can enjoy rides on the lake with a boat featuring a glass bottom and visit the on-site trout farm. The Blausee hotel is located 900 metres above sea level, a 10-minute drive or bus ride from Frutigen and Kandersteg. Free private parking is possible 200 metres away.

"The room was beautiful and the view was incredible. The ability to sit on the balcony over the lake and full view of the snowy mountains was very special. The bathroom was nicely warm especially after a shower, it’s this little things like this that elevated the room experience. The staff were wonderful, offering advice on locations like a waterfall that wasn’t overrun by tourists, this waterfall was a great recommendation by staff! The food was exceptional, the chef of our dinner meal knows high quality. Every detail about the hotel, staff and surrounding nature park was inviting and lovely. Jumping on the bus was so easy to navigate to the next towns. Would recommend!"
"This was our first time ever staying in a hotel that didn’t have a tiny refrigerator in the room for our morning energy drink / iced coffee, so that’s an adjustment on our part. But nothing to write here because everything was spectacular."
"It was my second time at this hotel, this time we had a lot of snow and the lake was beautiful. The room is comfortable with a very nice view, the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a la carte and delicious. I didn't have dinner at the hotel. Free parking."

"This is a great hotel! The location in a natural park is quiet at night and a place to relax during the day. The cleanest lake with trout, Alpaca Park. The rooms are not big, but comfortable. The SPA is very nice and we enjoyed using the saunas and jacuzzi, which is located outside. You lie down and admire the mountains. It's great! Very nice staff from the reception to the cleaners. And the dishes in the restaurant (especially the trout) require our return! This is a wonderful rest from the bustle of the city."
"It wouldn't hurt to come up with a way to meet guests from the park gates. Of course, we carried our things ourselves, but if our elderly parents had gone, they wouldn't have been able to carry their suitcases. We would consider this for an additional fee"

"Rolig område. Kort vei til offentlig transport og butikk hvor du får tak i det du trenger. Flotte parker i gangavstand i tillegg til badeanlegg med strand. Leiligheten inneholder det du trenger og er praktisk innrettet. Pluss med vifte når det ikke er aircondition og hetebølgen feier over Zürich."
"Enkel innsjekk, men husk å send inn detaljene som trengs på forhånd så du ikke ankommer uten å ha fått kode. Fin utsikt mot parken på andre siden av gaten. Moderne rom, fint med kjøkkenkrok. Enkelt å ankomme med bil for av/på lessing av bagasje på baksiden."
