"New, comfortable room with private bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Shared fully equipped kitchen. Good internet. Quiet in a safe district. 15 min in the bus number 10 or 12 to the city center. Alice, the owner who lives there, is very nice and helpful. She booked a taxi for us and woke up at 5.30a.m. to be sure that the taxi arrived. Excellent quality for a good price."

It is number 1 on the intercom when you arrive there. it is not written Conforto.

"I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel in the mountains. The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush nature and breathtaking views. "Gorgeous dome, well equipped. Easy to get to from the centre of Reykjavik by public bus. Easy self check in and information pack. The dome was spotless and nice and warm with the heaters when we arrived. We used the log burner and there was a good supply of wood and fire starters. The bathroom was clean and we weren’t bothered about it not being in the dome. We didn’t use the showers as we only stayed one night. The kitchen facilities were great and we heated up some food we brought with us. The hot tub was amazing and the mini bottle of fizz and the drinks were a great bonus. We drank it whilst watching the northern lights from the hot tub."

Everything was perfect

"Great host, with good energy, who picked me up from quay. His accommodation was only 10 minutes away. I slept in a tent with a very good, firm mattress. Not soft. In the afternoon it can be hot in the tent, so this makes it difficult to do a nap. A camping stove is available, so this was very welcomed. Onside a nice relaxing beach, where you can enjoy the water with paddling, just swimming or gaze at the ocean. During the night this area was quiet. Bathroom is near the house and supplies cold and hot water. He knows where to get good food, and cheap transport. A mosquito net may be handy next time. I really recommend this place."
