Carole and Jean-Yves are extremely friendly, make you feel at home straight away, and generously share tips and recommendations for your stay on the island. "My son and I spent three weeks traveling around Puerto Rico and this was a wonderful addition to our trip. I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."

The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night.

"This is glamping with so much adventure and fun. It was perfect for a family with kids and the privacy of the tent area is huge. The free BBQ amenities including charcoal and wood are also great. We just brought our BBQ menu are off for a glamping BBQ night. Winter time the temps drop to almost 10 degrees during our stay and there is no heater inside so it was difficult to sleep."

I wish they manage special occasions with a nice arrangement. A simple one birthday greeting for a child could mean a lot to their memories

"Beautiful views from the tent, very peaceful. Loved the sunset and the sunrise. The tents are very spacious and have everything you need: towels, soap, fridge, kitchen that comes with all the bits and bobs to cook."

Entry road was very bumpy.

"En fantastisk opplevelse, liten teltleir/camping helt alene ute i naturen. Veldig behjelpelig og hyggelig personale som hjalp oss med blant annet booking av Safari og transport.. svært enkel og god kommunikasjon, alt fungerte optimalt.. Vi hadde i tillegg en strålende matopplevelse med diverse sri lankiske retter - servert under åpen himmel med leirbålet i bakgrunnen. Barna og vi likte spesielt godt padleturen på elva samt «natturen» i nærområdet - fikk smake og lukte på diverse krydder og vekster.. Teltene gav den riktige stemningen⭐️🌴 et minne for livet Kan varmt anbefale overnattingen og hele «safariopplevelsen», men husk du er på camping så hvis man forventer flis på badet og ingen insekter kan du nok bli skuffet"

Telte bar litt preg av å ha vært lenge i bruk, men disse var planlagt byttet ut i nærmeste framtid.. (arbeidet var allerede godt i gang, uten at det var til noe bry for vår utmerkede opplevelse.

"Tolles Erlebnis, mega Sonnenaufgang. Tatsächlich bequemer als erwartet. Der Bäcker um Frühstück zu besorgen ist nur 1 Minute entfernt."

Die Ablage am Kopfende war nicht sauber ( tote Fliegen , Sand) , eine der LED Kerzen funktionierte nicht. Wir hatten uns zum Glück eine Lichterkette mitgebracht. Das sollte bei dem Preis doch schon der Fall sein.

The staff was super nice, they organized a transfer from Lompoul sur Mer to the location, they came with us to the beach and played football together with mbalax, then they came with us to the nearby desert and helped us organize a cab to Dakar airport. The food was also really good. Overall it has been an excellent stay!"

"Staff was amazing. Rachel went above and beyond any call of duty to have us met from a late bus, organised a park trip and had us dropped in morrogoro. Nesto made sure we were safe in the campground. Breakfast was great, more like brunch.Highly recommend the camping but for the bravehearted...loved sitting around the campfire in the early hours of the morning, listening to the sound of silence and occasionalanimal call, watching the moon sail across the sky from the net window of the tent... the sister hotel nearby has lovely rooms, at a very reasonable rate."

"It’s was perfect for me. The full experience from booking process, finding the location, meeting with the people responsible for the place. Great kitchen and accommodations. Super confy. Very quite with an amazing view. You can see the stars reflections on the lake. Fish made by Vincent was mmmm. Delicious. What else, Oh!! Learning more about the lake and people living around was an amazing experience. The place was built with love and harmony with the nature around. If you need a place to recharge- I highly recommend this one."

"Le A is situated in a magnifient garden, and you really feel lost in the place. It is very well integrated with the surroundings and calm. The accomodation is what you see on the pics and you will have what you need. The bed is comfortable and you need to do a small walk to get to shower and toilette, but that it is part of the beauty! Be aware of mosquitos! But this is normal in u are btw plants and in a garden. Sylviane will provide you with all the info you need to move around and where to buy things. If you van, rent a scooter, that will make you to be able to go around!"

Perhaps it could be a more clear the walking areas…but is part of the place :)
