It’s also well-suited for longer-term stays, as it has everything you need to feel at home. One of the highlights was the beautiful view overlooking the fortress, which made mornings and evenings especially enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, showing genuine hospitality and making sure everything was perfect. Communication was smooth and helpful from start to finish. The apartment is also very affordable for what it offers, with reliable and fast WiFi, making it a great choice for both leisure and work stays. Actually, description was ambiguous: contrary to expectation, the toilet, bathroom and kitchen were shared (with the hosts and with the renter from the other room that is hired within the property), not private.

"Quaint, cozy village house with friendly, hospitable Belgian hosts who speak Bulgarian and will make you feel right at home. If you're into luxury and 5-star hotels, do not book here. This is a great place to stay if you like the countryside, peace and quiet, dogs and smiling faces. Totally recommended! P.S.: The lighting in my Bedroom 1 was state-of-the-art."

"Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Kleines praktisches Zimmer mit kleinem Badezimmer(chen) zu einem angemessenen Preis. Bei Buchung wurde auf das kleine Badezimmer hingewiesen. Sehr bequemes Bett mit offenen Bettende und guter Matratze. Sehr ruhig. Frühstück mit verschiedener Wurst, Käse und Marmeladen und Gebäck. Vermieterin sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich."

Das kleine Badezimmer(chen) ist wirklich sehr klein. Ist aber kein Kritikpunkt, weil es wurde bei der Buchung schon drauf hingewiesen.

"I arrived late and the taxi driver was unsure of the location. However the owner ( manager) came out to meet us and showed me the cabin, there was a language barrier as I don’t speak French, however with the help of google translate this was overcome. The breakfast was good and plentiful with egg, dates, yoghurt and bread with a juice and coffee. The owner was very helpful despite the language, the cabins are functional and good fun and first thing I walked (30 seconds) to the beautiful beach at sunrise!"

As a grown up solo traveller, who is oftentimes ready to accept challenging environments, I cannot make any critical remarks. Right now due to the russian full scale invasion, hospitality businesses all over Ukraine are struggling for survival, which makes critical remarks even more misplaced. The bottom line is – I liked the property.

"Modern, clean, self contained with bedrooms having on-suite bathrooms which also provided convenience and privacy. minimalistic though everything you expect from a hotel accommodation/apartment we had , elements from the spa were also included dressing, gowns and slippers, beach towels. The air conditioning throughout the rooms was great keeping us cool when relaxing in such a hot period of the year"

Perfect for what we needed😊

"The location is beautifully landscaped, with lots of trees and flowers that brought in a variety of wildlife to view! We saw several beautiful birds and cute lizards. Tanja and Leo were extremely kind, welcoming, and accommodating! They provide a binder with plenty of information about the beaches, wildlife, and restaurants. We loved meeting the cats and dogs on the grounds! They were so cute and friendly. Renting a vehicle was easy and allowed us to visit nearby beaches with ease. The outdoor shower was refreshing and beautiful."

There is no air-conditioning, so it could get hot, but it was managable enough. There is a ceiling fan, and if the bathroom door is open, it allows for a lovely breeze. The net for mosquitos is helpful, but we found we needed to supplement with additional bug spray and a citronella candle. All in all, it was not too bad, and it was definitely managable!
