Bed-and-breakfast i Papua Ny-Guinea

"The evening meal provided at a very reasonable cost was one of the best I've had in a b&b. All organic salad and vegetables and that was also true of the wonderful breakfasts that are included in the room price. The location was spectacular, amazing views over the valleys below."

There really wasn't anything to dislike as far as I was concerned.

"Everything was ok, the accommodation is very near to the airport, only about 15 minutes walk, so it´s great if you have long hours to wait for your next flight. Also, you can find many restaurants and cafeterias around and the neighborhood looked good and safe."

It´s possible to pay only in cash.

Air condition fungerte godt, selv om det var veldig varmt ute. En perfekt base for å utforske Gozo. Veldig god beliggenhet i forhold til restauranter og badeplass. Vi besøkte flere badeplasser, men favoritten var bukten ca 800 meter fra gjestehuset."

"Our stay in El Nabila Pyramide and Sphinx View was nice. The People who work there are very friendly and Kind. The view was amazing!!! The Breakfast was kept simple but good and the rooms was also good. At Night it was a Little Bit loud, but that was okay for us. We had a good time here. Thank you!"

"Perfect location to explore the old town of San Marino. Walking around to the cable car. There was another family staying there so it was a bit awkward with them using the same front door and walking past our room. It meant our bathroom and living area were not as private as they could have been. But as we were mostly out exploring it didn't bother us much. Very friendly hosts who explained everything. We didn't find the aircon despite it listing it had it...."

The acoustics. I had to come out several times to ask for music or speaking volume to be reduced as it would echo throughout the building to my room when I was trying to sleep.

"Maguy and her husband are excellent hosts. Very friendly, breakfast is a lovely surprise every day with local fruit and dishes, made with love. Peaceful, quiet place where you find your peace. With only 2 rooms you almost are alone in the property and the swimmingpool. As we had our flight in the evening we could enjoy the whole day of the facilities. Magnificent view, a little paradise on earth. The room is very spacious with ensuite bathroom. If we can mention one thing to improve: the shower needs a renovation. Further on make sure you have good products to keep the mosquitos away. But absolutely no reason to stay away from this quiet little gem!"

"This guy gets it. This is what B&B felt like at its infancy, before it became a property business ROI machine. Here you have actual conversations and human atmosphere. Host is very friendly, joins for breakfast chat, and is a really wise and cool person, who is happy to talk tourist things, history, and life. Overall the place has 3 small rooms, with a huge shared central room, so it must be fun for friend groups. Amenities, location, and basics are fine. Furniture is amazing and well kept antics. Breakfast is basic but local and fresh. I traveled for business, but will come back with family. :)"

"Cleanliness, facilities (fully equipped kitchen, common areas, outdoor space, hand laundry and drying facilities, bikes for free, also SUP, parking for rented car, good strong hot shower and many bathrooms/wc), equipment, strong and reliable Wi-Fi, very good location (supermarkets, Main Street, Friday night market and park, museum and Long Beach all at walking/bike distance), good AC both in the room and in the living room. Excellent communication with the owner/manager Jee before, during and after the stay, very responsive, extremely helpful (day trips, recommendations, plugins adaptors, etc) and friendly. Very quiet. We stayed for 8 nights but we have stayed much longer, ideal for long stays and probably the best quality/price ratio in Koror. I really recommend! (And contrary to other reviews, indeed there are a few dogs in the neighbourhood but they don’t cause any problem)"

We didn't get a room by the pool as we had booked. Very slow service at breakfast. Old dusty furniture/kitchen equipment etc in public areas should be taken away for a better experience. The poolbar had very limited assortment.

It’s a residential area and in the evening it’s tricky to get a taxi at the main road to go to Grace Bay where you‘ll find most restaurants. To return is easy as there are always taxis at the Ritz Carlton. We didn’t want to rent a car as we only stayed 2 days which was okay in the day but a little tricky in the night.

Bathroom has mouldy smell, so needs to open window for ventilation. The building doesn’t have elevator, so if you have big luggage, it will be an issue to move your luggage.

Nothing. Good accommodation options are limited around Belize City and the airport and this is a great choice.

"Everythong is good for the price you pay. Super clean, spacious, quiet at night, confortable bed. Very friendly host and staff. Strategic location !"

"Svært bra familierom med bra fellesareal med kjøleskap og alt ein trengde for å lage seg enkel mat. Restaurant er ekstremt dyrt i Liechtenstein, så vil anbefale å lage mat der. Veldig reint og pent. Fek ikkje prøvd bassenget, men hadde ei svært fin utsikt."

Noko tung luft på rommet (ikkje ventilasjon). Ein del støy i gangen, men ikkje eit stort problem for oss. Litt dyrt, men det alt i dette landet.

"Hyggelig personale som tok meg godt imot, lot meg velge rom, og ordnet en fin frokost for bare meg. Pensjonatet har en koselig peisestue i gjennomført retrostil, hvor det var veldig hyggelig å sitte foran åpen peis å bare nyte stillheten. Pensjonatet ligger fint til med utsikt utover Røn og fjorden. Jeg kom opp til nysnø, som var veldig stemningsfullt."

Det var ikke varmet så godt opp, og var ganske kjølig i fellesarealene inkludert toalett og bad, som jeg regner med er fordi det er få gjester der på denne tiden, så det har jeg forståelse for. Det var derimot varmt og godt på rommet, og det ble varmet opp for meg i peisestua da jeg ville være der. Jeg tok selv et dårlig valg da jeg valgte et rom med utsikt (samme side som europaveien går forbi nedenfor) på en natt med tett snøfall, da brøytebiler kjørte med plogen nede x-antall ganger i løpet av natta (men jeg ble advart, så det var min egen skyld). Et minus ved stedet var en ganske hard seng. Men, totalopplevelsen var god, og pensjonatet kan anbefales.

On the weekends we had to walk from the B&B to the hotel. It isn’t far but it was raining very hard so we arrived soaked

"If I were the Michelin commissioner, I would award Happy Villa with three stars: Worth for an independent tour. This place has everything, plus your host will make you feel at home. Our stay was simply too short to enjoy all the options this accommodation offers. It is also positioned well for island exploration. Oh, and not mentioning superb breakfast starting with a healthy shot. You will be in good hands and with a full stack of options for every day of exploration of charming Dominica."

Nothing really. Except that the stay here was too short to enjoy all the options. Our mistake afterall. And I said that already anyway.
