"Landlig beliggenhet i utkanten. Det var mulighet for å gå tur, spise i paviljongen eller lage egen mat. Vi fikk en god kjørebeskrivelse i forkant. Det var skilting i tillegg. Frokosten som ble serveri i et nabobygg var over all forventning."

"The room was big enough, nicely furnished with a balcony. Bathroom was fine. Bed was comfortable. We had clean towels and sheets, so everything you need. Staff was friendly too."

One of the highlights was the beautiful view overlooking the fortress, which made mornings and evenings especially enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, showing genuine hospitality and making sure everything was perfect. Communication was smooth and helpful from start to finish. The apartment is also very affordable for what it offers, with reliable and fast WiFi, making it a great choice for both leisure and work stays. Overall, everything exceeded expectations—I would definitely stay here again."

Keine Handtücher. Toilettenpapier wurde nicht nachgefüllt. Heizung im Zimmer ließ sich nicht zurückdrehen.

"The host was very kind. The property was very cleaned. I had to leave super early to the airport, the owner got up so early to prepare food for me to eat on the way to the airport. He was super kind."

It is a bit out of the town but ok if you have a car. If there are many guests you will have to queue to use the shower room and toilet as it is a shared Barth room property.

"The location was perfect for what we were looking for, half way between diamond beach and Reykjavík. We arrived quite late and it was easy to check in and parked right outside. We also got to the see the northern lights that night!"

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The room was basic and nothing fancy but met our needs and was clean and that’s all we expected and were looking for.

Nothing, we should just have stayed longer.

"I did like the way I was received and was shown around.Kessy is always available when you need her. My advice to anyone is to make sure you communicate the time of your arrival to her in time."

My only complaint is about the bed… it was hanging in the middle and was really noise. Needs a new bed.

"My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Watercolours between the 17-24 December 2025 and would thoroughly recommend it! The hosts are wonderful, remarkably kind and hospitable - they made our first experience of Bermuda very special, adding a touch of magic to a much needed break. Watercolours is a beautiful home, very tastefully decorated, with the guest rooms luxurious and well appointed. Much thought and consideration has gone into making sure every need is met, so that it really feels like a home from home. Also helpful advice about where to go and how to get there with bus/ferry tickets available to purchase from the host rather than having the hassle of buying these from the bus station. We were so fortunate to have booked this place - it was outstanding in every way!"

"It's a beautiful property- the room and facilities were great. The dinner was delicious and extremely generous- Rum and wine included as well. Breakfast had some nice continental options and I especially enjoyed the herb tea. The host was wonderful- I don't speak French but was very easy using google translate. She gave great instructions for arrival. She also looked after me as and made sure I got to the start of my hike safely- she asked another couple to drop me at the trail on their way to Marla after she realised I was going to walk up the windy mountain road! If you are getting a bus there is also a stop right outside- although take care to plan as the buses don't run frequently."

"Location was great. And nothing beats the local dishes for breakfast. The convience of the washer and dryer right in the apartment was awesome!! I think the gated area added to the security of the apartment, and so you feel safe staying there."

I think some basic essentials would be nice, like salt, pepper, and oil to cook with:-)
