"The owner was very kind and proposed to buy some food for me at 3 different times as I arrived late in the evening and was just in transit for a night each time. The studio is very big, with all what we need and very clean. I recommend especially if you are in transit as it's near the airport !!! The price is really good also."

"Miss B was fantastic and gave us a very warm welcome. Gave us complimentary bottled water and biscuits. It was quite sufficient as it was extremely warm. The bedding was clean and comfy. It was very basic but homely and had all we needed for a restful night's stay. We relied on frequent public transport which was frequent and inexpensive. If you're travelling on a budget Jem Gems is for you.I wouldn't hesitate to stay again"

"The location is excellent. A five minute walk, and you're on Highway 1, where you can catch the local buses to the popular areas of the island. The house is spacious and airy. You have use of the kitchen and facilities like washing machine, microwave, etc. . Nicole, the host is friendly and helpful. She took us on a walk to show us the beaches nearby and supermarket to buy groceries. She even offered to drive us to a restaurant on our first night for dinner! We met her mum too, who was lovely. We enjoyed our accommodation as we got to experience a typical Barbadian stay among the friendly local neighbours."

"The property was excellent and the view when you enter the apartment, looking out over the pool and to the sea, with palm trees on the beach, is a view I would never get bored of! Having the pool and the small private beach for the apartment block was brilliant. The apartment was very well equipped, maintained and decorated and suited our needs perfectly.
