"Shower had no curtain or partition so the whole bathroom was soaked when anyone showered. No place was dry to put your clothes, not even a hook behind the door. A kettle would have been good so we could make a hot drink in our room. Price was high for the standard of property. It was quite an old building needing a refurb."

"We were quite desperate to find a somewhat affordable hotel in the surroundings due to unexpected delays with our travels. Although the rating was average (a 6.7 on booking when booking) we thought, let's try, we need a place to stay. That is quite literally all you get. The room was a decent size but very dated. The bed had two very different mattresses; they did not match in size and definitely not in comfort. You could feel the springs in one of the mattresses and it was very uncomfortable. The decor was made up of old paintings (which is fine) and just empty nails sticking out of the wall. The hygiene of the room was... questionable at best. The bathroom was absolutely abhorrent. Cracks in the mirror and sink, you had to be careful with flushing the toilet else you would (or at least have the impression you would) break the flush button, the showerhead was filled with buildup, resulting in a lackluster flow of water and to top it all of: no shower curtain or anything to protect the rest of the bathroom and everything in it of getting completely soaked when showering. The walls of the room are also paper thin, we could hear everything going on in the hotel and since there are a lot of rooms, resulting in a lot of people, it is not a quiet place to stay. The cleaning crew came rattling at our door quite early in the morning while we were still in bed and checkout wasn't until 10.30 (believe they started rattling and opening doors around 8.30h. All in all: if you absolutely have to, you get a roof over your head and it's dry. The view is amazing but that is all..."

"Overpriced but you have to pay to stay in this area. We payed for breakfast (for a family of six €60) as the owner told us it was very good and we were missing something if we didn’t have it. It was an average breakfast. Don’t be fooled. The rooms we had were adequate but not great considering the price. Very warm with no air conditioning."
