Det er ikke heis i bygget som var ett lite minus da jeg havnet i 2 etg og hadde med meg stor koffert.

"The place was very, very quiet (you only heard the rustling of th sea) and the view on the sea was extremely beautiful, one of the best sea views I ever saw (and I travelled a lot!). When I was there I also saw very many butterflies. The room was well equipped with fridge and tea facilities. The lady can make good meals. The village of Sauteurs is only half an hour walking from the place over a quiet road. Sauteurs is a little dull but has a certain Caribbean charm."

There is no airco. The cottages are on a slope, so sometimes you have to climb from your cottage to th reception and restaurant.

"Beautiful and relaxing setting looking at surrounding hills. Spacious apartment with all you need and nice pool to cool off in. Dimitris and family are wonderful and friendly hosts. Short stroll into Main Street of zaros. Highly recommend the property."

Parking can be an issue as spaces are limited.

"Koselig familiehotell. Fine felles områder, hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Gode senger, veldig stille siden alle rom er vekk fra vei. Fint med direkte utgang til basseng. Enkel men god frokost med ferske bakevarer og meny for ulike typer egg som bestilles ved siden av."

"Quiet neighbourhood but not secluded. Close to Blue Bay, very close to Kokomo Beach for great snorkelling early in the day, and the flamingo habitat was always fun to check out. Grocery store was a 5 minute drive away. Many restaurant choices a short drive away. 10-15 mins from downtown Willemstad, with plenty of parking near the Fort. Ed was a wonderful host! And the private pool at the end of a long hot day was a blessing."

Could not find coffee filters for the coffee machine in any store…:)

"Ble møtt på flyplassen og fraktet til resorten. Rent og fint rom, med soverom, bad og liten stue. Veldig behjelpelig personal, som bestilte turer, leiebil og hjalp med praktiske spørsmål. God mat og flott beliggenhet. Overkommelig pris, som frigjorde midler til å ta kjekke dagsturer, leie bil o.l. Noe enkel i standarden, men vi trengte bare en plass å sove."

Det var ikke mye vi savnet. Det hadde vært godt om det var et basseng der man kunne kjøle seg ned. Savnet også muligheten til å lage noe mat selv. Ellers alt vel.

"It is a very special location. The large rock pool is absolutely unique. Great for swimming and looking at coral fish. We have never seen this at any other place we stayed."

"St John is a beautiful Island. This condo was clean, comfortable and enjoyed the balcony out back."

We chose not to rent a car and found it difficult to get taxi drivers who wanted to bring us to the end of the street. We tipped well, people would give us their number and then not answer. Was not the condos fault but surprised at the taxi drivers

"Beautiful territory, nice stuff, excellent location, proximity to the beach. Absolutely beautiful place to stay close to the old port, very convenient for the kids to swim. A bit outside of the city and I loved it! Walking distance to the kite beach or shell cemetery. Enjoyed to be surrounded by so many flowers on the territory. Definitely good value for the money. Book in advance!"

The kids bed wasn’t really comfortable and was somehow uneven.

"We had a family room with a kitchen (all utensils included), which I highly recommend. The beds also had comfortable mattresses, fast internet, and adequate hot water. Breakfast is included in the price, including an omelet, salad, bread, and tea/coffee. Supermarkets and restaurants are within walking distance."

The hotel is a bit tired and its age is evident. Our room also lacked a desk, forcing us to go down to reception to work on our laptop. After preparing a hot meal, we were forced to eat sitting on the bed, which was quite uncomfortable. But all these downsides are outweighed by the more significant advantages described above.

"Det var veldig fint og stort rom. Bassenget var deilig og friskt. Vi kunne lage oss egg og toast til frokost helt gratis. Kjøkkenet er det reneste jeg har vært borti. Vil anbefale dette stedet - da personalet også var superhjelpelige."
